Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian Government organization which has the power and authority to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. - CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level)

- MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff)

- Junior Engineer Examination

- Stenographer (Grade C and Grade D)
The recruitment of Stenographer (Grade C and Grade D) is conducted by SSC for recruiting stenographer for various central government offices as well as attached subordinate offices. For appearing in this exam, the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with stenography skills.
- SI in Delhi Police, CAPF and ASI in CISF
This competitive exam is conducted by SSC to select personnel for various police organizations of the country such as Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Border Security Force (BSF), ITBP etc.
- Constable (GD) Examination
This is an open competitive exam conducted by SSC to recruit constables in forces like BSF, ITBP, Assam Rifles, CRPF, SSB, NIA etc. The candidate has to qualify physical efficiency and eligibility test. Thereafter, he will be able to appear in the written examination conducted for the recruitment. The minimum qualification of the candidates for this competitive exam should be matriculation.
- Junior Hindi Translator in Subordinate Offices / Ministry of Defence / Central Hindi Training Institute
Every year, SSC conducts this open competitive exam to recruit translators in various organizations of the government. The candidate has to be a graduate or post graduate with proficiency in Hindi or English. For applying for Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Institute, experience is also mandatory for the candidates.
