SSC CGL Exam Stages

The exam comprises four stages including Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4.
Tier I: Tier I contains 100 questions of 200 marks altogether. The exam is divided into four sections that include 25 questions each for General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, English Comprehension and Quantitative Aptitude.
Tier II: Tier II requires methodological knowledge of English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates will have to select any two among the three given choices.
Tier III: Tier III tests Writing skills of the candidates in English language and is descriptive type. Candidates will have to write an essay or a letter on a given subject. This section comprises of 100 marks and has to be completed in 60 minutes.
Tier IV: After achieving success in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III, the candidates are required to appear for Tier IV that includes personality test and an interview.
The four stages are quite complex and requires hard work and efforts to achieve success and getting a dream job.
